. My first experience dealing with English I learn English first when I was in elementary school. at first I was not interested at all because I think that it's not important and only the language in use by the other country. but then I realize that English is important in a variety of fields.


 I then got interested to learn. Interest in studying english now much bigger in because of carelessness tv station that broadcasts a variety of broadcast in english include : news , the drama , and the song even make english in the language of I studied languages of britain is not only of a book but through tv broadcast dramas esp. kbs word and arirang. where broadcasting highly qualified not only using the korean language , but there is a language or of a song esp. broadcast music bank of korean who again become incredibly global . that 's how i understand more english.


 . major obstacles and expectations I am hard to say because the written and in say different. Sometimes the words are the same but have different meanings and also there are American English, British English, Australian English also. These are just some of the obstacles still more other constraints I hope i can more learning and have english so that i can pronounce correctly , exactly , and can understand

 Example : we have introduced a standard to ensure that all salespeople are singing from the same hymn sheet.


. Talk the talk, walk the walk it means you should parctice (walk) what you preach (talk). Basically, it means to do as one says, rather than just saying something and then not acting in accord with the words. Example : “If you’re going to talk the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk”


. The elephant in the room A situation where something major is going on, it’s on everyone’s mind and impossible to ignore – like an elephant in the room. But nobody talks the “elephant” because nobody knows what to do about it.


 Example : uncle Nimrod is busily getting drunk again at the family thanksgiving dinner. There’s going to be a drunken scene. But everyone feel powerless and choses to ignore his behavior. 


 Pass to the monkey Means pass the responsibility for an issue or problem to someone.
 Example : if employees don’t develop the understanding that they are empowered to do what they can with the freedom that provides, they will always pass the monkey back to the manager.

Program Aim

Over 2,000 incidents; over 11,000 victims; about 750 billion won in damages. This is the record of maritime incidents that took place throughout the year 2009.

Diverse maritime incidents including minor ones such as fishing boat crashes and sea crimes such as illegal trafficking, defections and immigration incidents, break out in the sea around the nation surrounded by the sea on three sides.

Other incidents included North Korean incursion past the NLL (Northern Limit Line), the shelling of a South Korean island by North Korea’s seaside artillery batteries, sea terrors and pirates appearing in the sea of southeast Asian countries.

This drama features stories about the Korean Maritime Police who are guarding the Korean territorial waters, which is 4.5 times larger than the land territory, with a fifteenth of the manpower of the regular police on the land. It depicts many spectacular images and various maritime incidents that have rarely been seen on the TV screen.

It gives light on the people who rescue the lives of others in life-threatening environments. They overcome terrible hardships to rescue the survivors of accidents in the sea.

Their superhuman efforts and sense of justice is extraordinary, but they simply consider it a part of their job.

Plot Summary

“Poseidon” is a drama similar to USA’s NCIS: “Naval Criminal Investigative Service” that depicts a story of a group of special forces from the National Maritime Police Academy (Korean Coast Guard) which in charge of sea rescue, counter-terrorism and other special missions. The drama takes its name from the Poseidon Team, a special forces unit of the Marines, and is being produced by Yoo Cheolyong and Cho Kyuwon from “IRIS.”

Using the strong bonds of humanity as a basis, and through the challenges faced by the protagonists and their spirit of self-sacrifice, the drama movingly shows the significance of life and the stories of how people overcome obstacles in life.

Synopsis

After losing his wife in an accident, Kwon Jung Ryul (played by Lee Sung-jae), a naval officer, becomes a total workaholic and sets out out to uncover a mafia organization linked to an unsolved case.

Kim Seon Woo (played by Choi Siwon) was a rookie agent in Athena, a onetime ace officer who’d enjoyed a steady rise. However, after getting caught up in a messy case, his career ground to a halt. The former hotshot is now the problem child of the special forces team Poseidon, and he’s put on the investigation team looking into that unsolved case. Also on that case is the sole female officer on the team, Lee Soo Yoon (played by Lee Shi-young)

Trivia

The Poseidon original casting was Eric Mun Jung Hyeok, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Ok Bin, Jeon Hye-bin, and Yunho (the TVXQ band member remains as cameo), but they all left the set after the filming of drama was repetitively delayed since 2010, due to Yeonpyeong-do incident and bad weather. The drama had recorded up to five episodes worth of footage before recasting is done.

Sleepy Baby" Harus Diawasi

Pada bulan-bulan awal kehidupannya, seorang bayi biasanya lebih sering tertidur ketimbang terjaga. Tak heran bila sering muncul istilah sleepy baby. Fenomena seperti ini sebenarnya merupakan hal yang umum dan normal. Namun, para ibu juga disarankan untuk tetap memerhatikan jadwal pemberian asupan makanan bayi, yang dalam hal ini adalah air susu ibu (ASI).

"Lebih banyak tidur dibanding bangunnya, itu sebenarnya normal. Tapi kalau tidak diawasi dengan benar, bisa mengganggu kegiatan menyusuinya," ungkap Ketua Umum Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (Ketua Umum AIMI) Mia Susanto di sela-sela peresmian kelas kASIh Ibu di RSIA Kemang Medical Care Jakata, Rabu, (11/5/2011).

Mia menyarankan, khususnya pada bulan pertama kehidupannya, seorang bayi sebaiknya menyusu paling tidak delapan kali dalam sehari. Maksimumnya bisa mencapai 10 atau 12 kali. "Supaya kita tahu, ada asupan ASI yang cukup. Meskipun bayi banyak tidur, minumnya juga tetap banyak," urainya.

Namun kadang, yang menjadi bagian tersulit pada kasus sleepy baby adalah dalam hal membangunkan.

Mia menegaskan, membangunkan bayi jangan sampai menimbulkan trauma baginya atau menggunakan teknik-teknik yang justru menyakitkan. "Misalnya kakinya disentil-sentil. Jangan seperti itu," ucapnya.

Lebih lanjut, Mia mengatakan, "Bisa dengan massage, dipijat-pijat, dibuka bajunya, dibasuh pakai waslap menggunakan air hangat. Jadi, ada cara-caranya," pungkasnya.
